Does it distract from the fundamental economic role of business? Is it superficial window-dressing? Is it simply a way to preempt the role of governments? Or is it a result of leadership within a framework of ethical stewardship? This session will explore these questions and the evolution of related concepts. You will be given the tools to form your own opinions about the compatibility of profits and social responsibility and have the opportunity to define your role as a naysayer, a follower or a leader.
